Firetest Peutz

Protec Industrial Doors has succeeded in developing a fire resistant overhead door and a sound-absorbing overhead door and to get both properties certified as one door, as a complete door construction.

This newly developed overhead door has first been tested at Peutz, on its acoustic characteristics in accordance with the ISO140-3:1995 and then on its fire resistant characteristics in accordance with EN1634-1, EI1-60.

Thanks to the unique certified combination of 60 minutes fire resistance and 45 dB sound-insulation, using double constructions is not necessary anymore. Here you can see the sound-absorbing overhead door during the test on the inside and the outside.
